Vincent- The reason i picked this small story, was because i quite liked the idea of a child imagination, and that mystical place they create and bring that world to life, and they are the master almost like a ring master in a circus full of madness and chaos.Voodoo Girl- The reason I picked this poem is in a quirky way its a obsession with men to a certain woman who in their eyes the most beautiful woman they have ever seen, and the needles will represent her one true love and the months she will be away from him to show this is a film it will be a picture of him on her heart.
Stick boy and match girl in love- This is another story that can be seen as a forbidden love sort like romeo and juliet but cause its a tim burton film i can twist it more and keep it dark, In the short story the match girl sets the stick boy on fire this could symbolise hate between them or their passion for each other.
A part of me wants to stay true to burtons dark image he has created for his characters or if i want to spin it off and make his characters the complete opposite, and make his characters all light and normal with a dark secret so that i have the contrast of his normal characters but still have an essence of Tim in them.
